What if I find a citation to an article that is not full-text in the database I'm searching?
Check the following:
- KWC's EJournals to determine if the journal is full-text in another database
- KWC Periodical Holdings List to determine if the LLC has the journal in print format
- Owensboro Area Serials List to determine if the journal is at another local library
Interlibrary Loan
What if the item I need is not available locally?
The Library Learning Center provides interlibrary loan (ILL) services to all KWC students, faculty and staff. Membership in OCLC and other consortia enables the LLC to provide access to a wide range of materials held by other libraries. The conditions of interlibrary loan services are set by local agreements, the regulations of individual libraries, the ILL Code of the American Library Association, and US copyright law.
If you are not currently affiliated with the college, please check with your home library about borrowing materials through interlibrary loan.
